this is very common so ---Short version,
they cant See the heart palp, nurse from Psy ward comes, the usual is this- only make sure you do not want to hurt self, others, ask few questions, then leave without asking you to admit yourself. ( unless you have a need to)
nurse there over two hours trying to Convince me to admit, --->NEVER GIVE ANY BACKGROUND TO THEM CONCERNING HISTORY OF ANXIETY NOT EVEN A HINT IF YOU ARE STABLE and. mentally well enough to go home!
They cant see whatever they think they want to diaganose you with either but are quick to do it. this is my first experience with what i saw as badgering, going as far as to try and psycologically decieve me, very much bordering on getting one admitted in a hosptial for reasons NOT concerning the patient who DOES have major life threatening issues, that could Easily lead to Devestating consequences!
she at the last hour tried one more tatic to get me there. 
Your Symptoms are coming from your ........ What She had Diagnosed me as,mind you she is Not a Psychiatrist, due to my stupidity in telling her about a stay over 20 years ago due to excesivie stress causing high anxiety. Anxiety was and still is my diagnosis.
I was quiet but thinking to myself, this is the most outrageous thing i've come across, lying to me-- concerning something that would determine the outcome of my LIFE or No life!
I KNOW the lingo, i've studied it, its old hat, i do not believe anything i'm told that is of importance concerning Life, without researching for MYself!
when i realized this is Not the norm, there's more going on here and its not for My benefit; i withheld some info from her that she Had to have to base this diagnosis on so to  intentionally  trick her up and get her to back off.
That is when she changed it to her diagnosis was were my symptoms (of 3 or more years) were coming from. never once did i let on to her i knew what she was doing, if someone uses the same phrase, word, enough, repeating it within a short period of time say.. an hour. They are using an old psychology trick that if something is heard Enough times, especially if you are Tired, Stressed, under any circumstances that may make you even Somewhat Vunerable,
as maybe needing a very long needed break and someone to just take over all the responsibilities and let you rest, Any need to give any control in any form OR fashion; YOU are very much at risk for simple Cult Mentality and How they draw people to them, Then its how the KEEP them.
Never i have i seen this done in an ER room nor Heard of such a thing happening.
take my word for it, they are not playing. This place wanted to fill a 14 bed floor that had only 6 people by making me the 7th. Its MONEY.

let any specialist convince you they are of NO importance!
The first of this i knew about was in 04 during a mamagram. It was the most painful i'd ever had and almost passed out. At the hardest point of the squeezing of the breast, milk came out and i mean it Really did! I had Never seen anything like that and terrified! i've never been pregnant either.
NOTE THIS!  i asked, is this normal for my age???? she said, yes, pretty much, we do see this. This Aught to ring a bell... are you thinking about this?

when i saw the dr a lady doctor with Duke, she said as soon as i walked in, i see you had an issue with prolactoma, lets have an mri of your pituitary gland to see if maybe there might be a little tumor there, not to worry they are 99.9 percent benign. Non cancerous.
1. The lady that did my mamagram said it was not that unusual to see this!
2. Have you Ever heard of this condition????????????

OK... 1 in 5 PEOPLE HAVE PITUITARY TUMORS CAUSING SOME KIND OF TROUBLE, AND DO NOT KNOW IT UNTIL THEY HAVE CUSHINGS DISEASE, ADDISONS DISEASE, THYROID PROBLEMS, ADDRENAL FATIGUE-FALUIRE AND ADRENAL GLANDS ARE REMOVED, I COULD GO ON AND ON!

3. IF YOU START THIS PROCESS, YOU `WILL` SEE MANY ENDO DOCTORS BEFORE EITHER YOU GIVE UP, AND THAT IS NOT AN OPTION. OR... YOU TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR OWN HEALTH CARE AND LEARN EVERYTHING AND MUCH MORE THAN THESE DOCTORS ARE TAUGHT ABOUT THIS.

4.WHY?  YOU WILL HEAR THIS OVER AND OVER AND OVER UNTIL YOU EITHER BELEIVE IT OR ARE DETERMINED TO KNOW AS MUCH AND MOST LIKELY MORE THAN THE ENDO SPECIALIST TELLING YOU, THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, COME BACK IN 6 MONTHS, A YEAR AND HAVE ANOTHER MRI! IF YOU HAVE SYPTOMS AS SEVERE AS I DO, HOUSEBOUND, YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS, NOR STOP! THEY SAY, THESE TUMORS ARE NON SECRETEING (SP) NOT ACTIVE MEANING.
IF SO, WHY DID THE PRESENCE OF BREAST MILK CAUSE A VERY WELL TRAINED DOCTOR AND NOT EVEN IN THIS FIELD, THINK PITUITARY GLAND-TUMOR???????? 
THEN GO ON TO FIND A TINY 2MM TUMOR! NOT MUCH BIGGER THAN THE HEAD OF A STRAIGHT PIN.

I SEE THE SECOND ENDO (BEING THE FIRST IN KY)I TOMORROW, WED. The reason i'm going back to him, i remember two things he said that none of the 6 ot 7 others did, and they all contridicted each other, i'm sure would be somewhat embarrassed if they could hear each other telling entirely different excuses, even one argueing the point that i could Not have had diabetes as child age 4-6 and not have it now. geez........ i dont know about where you live, but these particular doctors wear you out with some of the stupidist statements you'll ever hear. Some of this is just plain common sense, but be Very care ful before you let one know you have studied up and have knowledge of this issue, you have to see if they are able to take it and i've found only 1 that could. that was where i suggested the salavia test, (wish i knew it needed to be tested 4 times a day instead of once). it was the salavia test that told him everything he needed to know..

i'm So sick of talking about this issue, but i'm determined to make aware as many as possible about this.  Do you know, if you are on medicare medicade, you could NOT have this MRI i will be having! Not in this state, not in NC with this new healthcare going through! You also better be checking to see what meds they are going to stop paying for! My mother is going through this right now in NC. She does not even Know if her doctor will see her the next time, only certian ones will be paid to even see Mostly our Elderly!

The last update did not take so this is it! I'm going in the hospital in the next few hours as a last effort in this area. Lord willing this will work, but if not, He has somewhere better. It will probabbly be one from http://www.pituitary.org/

My dad is at home dying of cancer, it came back Very suddenly, please keep him, my step-mom and the rest of the family in NC in prayer. Also their church is a tower for them, they lack for nothing.
God is the only Anchor during the storms in My life! The only One true For sure Cannot Lie, will be there, never sleep or slumbers.

I'll post only once or twice a week until some kind of treatment starts. The treatment will be harmonal to begin with i suppose disregarding the tumors. I was told i would have to be on harmones the rest of my life. Thats just fine by me, Quality is more important than Quantity if all i'm doing is lying on the couch trying to stay so still as it helps keep the hearth palpitations a little calmer. This last time i laid on the couch 4 days and nights, getting up Only when having too.

I write this in hopes that if only `ONE` person comes along and reads this and can relate, and gets Help, Its worth it! I sure don't enjoy sitting here doing it.

Until i get some help here, being online makes me nervous, so i try to stay away from it.

I'll be seeing the OBGYN who hesitantly said he would see me for treatment of the ovarian failure and start harmones on the Oct. 20th!

Diagnosis- Ovarian Failure. And when did this start? I'm 51. The first tumor found in 03 was lactating just as these are and not much; i was told it kicked me into Early Menapause.  At first i thought" Ok,,, Menapause. Whats New! Being Mindful now i've been researching these tumors over a year. My experience with doctors has Not been the best and a couple of times almost deadly from PSY. perscriptions, they were trying to help the heart palpitations but there were some severe reactions.

So my first thought, i'm not researching anymore...at all! I can only look up these things no more than 15 minutes; for me its just very  stressful. But my curiousity got the best of me.

There's more to ovarian failure than menapause. Looking back, i can see a timeline between Panic Disorder in early to mid 20's to what most likely was Ovarian Failure around 1997. I'd not had a panic attack since 1987. They started slowly and progressively got worse. So who do you get sent to??? Another Psy. More Meds, i've probabbly been on every psychiatric med available, None stopped the heart palpitations; yet i knew others that the same meds helped. 

The palpitations got so bad in 1993, they were nonstop 24/7 for 7 weeks. We made a major life decission and moved to NC, where i came from thinking being around family would help. It didn't. 2 1/2 years latter we moved back to ky. 

The hotflashes turning into all day all night 7 days a week and the palpitations were doing the same thing at the same time. I see a major timeline here. 

This is Ovarian Failure  Please read it! Knowledge goes along way in  taking charge of your Own healthcare. And it all started from the Pituitary Tumor. You may already be dealing with these tumors, and know much more than i ever will, but my goal is to make everyone i possibly can `AWARE` of something they have never heard before. No one should have to suffer like this being basically homebound due to what doctors Dont know, they don't communicate with each other; at least where i live.

I don't know what  i'll hear on the 20th from the obgyn concerning `Treatment` the endo at Duke sent him, but i do have an appointment tomorrow with my MD, he has the records and i'm going to ask what the treatment is. It should be (hopefully) harmonal. QUALITY OF LIFE IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT TO ME THAN QUANTITY.
Only a FEW doctors understand that.

When i can function enougth to persue getting these things removed, i'm going to. They have already caused enough trouble and years of wondering where the person who lived inside me went.  The risk may outway the outcome but at this point thats something i'm willing to take.  God can heal these tumors, or he can work through a Qualified doctor who specializes in this . After being in 3 states pituitary.org lists University of Kentucky and a few hospitals in Virginia.
